Montreal's Port Symphonies became a winter tradition in the city. They depict musicians who play outdoors, the sirens of boats moored in port, the whistles of locomotives and the bell tower of Notre Dame. They are held at Pointe-à-Callière where spectators gather on the Place Royale to listen to this unique event.
