Notre-Dame du Bon Secours in Brussels. Built between 1664 and the late seventeenth century on the site of the former chapel of the Hopital Saint-Jacques, the baroque church is named after a statue found at this location in 1625 and regarded as miraculous. Executed according to plans of J. Cortvrindt, construction of this building, brought the choir to the front, saw a succession of two architects: P.-P. Merckx and G. De Bruyn. Restored several times, the church made ​​mostly of sandstone impressed by the balance of proportions, the play of volumes, ribbed dome hexagonal plan and very simple decoration.
